1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
3/4 cup lukewarm water
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
3 teaspoons granulated sugar
Pizza Toppings:
1/2 cup yogurt-based ranch dressing
1 cup carved turkey, chopped
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1/2 yellow onion, sliced
1 cup shredded cheese (your choice of mozzarella, cheddar, or a mix)
1 cup fresh spinach leaves
Preparing the Pans:
4 teaspoons olive oil (2 teaspoons per pan)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Dough:
In a medium bowl, mix lukewarm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 2–3 minutes until slightly foamy.
Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the bowl. Mix briefly, then knead the dough using a dough hook on a stand mixer for 8 minutes.
Once kneaded, coat the dough with 1 tablespoon olive oil, cover with a towel, and place it in a warm area to rise for 1 hour.
2. Prepare the Pans and Shape the Dough:
Preheat your oven to 450°F.
Oil two 9-inch round pans with 2 teaspoons of olive oil each.
After the dough has risen, divide it in half and press each portion evenly into the pans.
3. Assemble the Pizzas:
Spread yogurt ranch dressing onto each pizza base.
Add the carved turkey, green bell pepper, and yellow onion evenly across both pizzas.
Top with shredded cheese, followed by fresh spinach leaves.
4. Bake the Pizzas:
Place the pans on the lower rack of your oven and bake for 15–18 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve.
