Easy Pink Salt Buttermilk Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- ⅛ tsp pink salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 3 tbsp shortening
- 5 tbsp buttermilk
- 1 egg (egg white; egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Take your Pink Salt, some plastic wrap and a rolling pin. Place the salt in the plastic wrap, fold it over and crush it with rolling pin by rolling it on top of it.
- Get a bowl, sifter and add in the flour, Pink Salt, baking powder and baking soda and shake it into the bowl.
- ADD in your shortening and crush into flour to crumble into small pieces.
- ADD buttermilk to form into a ball.
- Knead the dough on a surface; fold 5-7 times.
- Get a brush and crack an egg to remove the egg white. Place the egg white in a small bowl and take the brush and rub it on each biscuit.
- Bake for 14 minutes.
